BOTM: The New U.P. - Feeling blue? - part 3

Andy Kessler - 22-Sep-2017
In my last Blog for this BOTM (Bike Of The Month) I promised that by 25th of September we will have our last Blog and in the same time our NEW U.P. frames in stock in our warehouses in USA, Europe and Asia.

Once again the bottle neck is me and not our logistics as the frames are about to arrive which is good news. But I will catch up and be in time Monday with blog number 4 and not even my 8am Monday morning dentist appointment (yes I will loose the last part of my wisdom teeth) will stop me this time.....

Before we go into the detailed specifications of that blue beauty we show you some detail shots of our first NEW U.P. build:

Hi Andy - how did you get the XRC's working with U-Turn? My LBS is saying they're having a hard time with 12mm on those. Thanks! Jeff

Thanks, Andy - that's what I thought & they said it wouldn't work with the XRC... time to go back. Those wheels are sharp!! Thanks, Jeff

Gorgeous work! The money shot is the last photo in the sequence(the full bike). This and my One+ could eliminate 4 bikes out of my bike fleet. More can be less.

Timely post! I just built up my UPPER with the same
ec90 cranks as your BOM. Curious what you used for spacers on the NDS/DS to get recommended chainline. I just kind of guessed based on the previous guide you posed on sram bb30 cranks.

Doesn't appear to have the power meter spindle but that's easily added.

Beautiful bike! Di2 XTR and I'm assuming DA levers/shifters. Are those tires tubeless?

Hi Mark, I actually started tubeless but as they are the lightweight version was adding tubes as they did not hold the air as good as the heavier version

I have the same tire setup on my N UP, and was also not able to set them up tubeless unfortunately on my Unaas rims. What kind of tubes are you running?
