Meet-up in NYC, new U.P. family video

Two pieces of news:



1) I'll be at the Rapha store in Soho, NYC this Thursday, starting at 6:30pm for RCC members and then open to everybody at 7pm. The topic will be  the future of cycling and bikes, from road to gravel roughly. But I can definitely go off-topic with any question you may have. It's not strictly an OPEN event, I'll talk about OPEN and 3T and anything else that may seem appropriate. So if you're in the area, I hope to see you there! 2) With the arrival of the new U.P., some people have asked for a synopsis of the differences. We have them in the intro text, but for those who absorb information better when it comes to them in a charming Swiss accent, here is a new video of Andy guiding you through the line-up. And for those points Andy forgot, we have written them into the video! (I already know that the first message I see tomorrow morning will be from Andy saying "next time, YOU do it!")



If you have any questions, or would like to see any other videos, please let us know. And I hope to see many of you Thursday in NYC. For those who can't make it on the Thursday, we are working on a second event in the city, so stay tuned.

That video should be nominated for an Oscar! The acting alone would carry it for the win, but the cinematography was just as good. The ending literally came out of nowhere! Great work guys! ;-)

Hi Matt, here is my coming out... I hate to do videos but as Gerard already mentioned he will make the next one so it will be all good. Not sure if he has time so as he will go on a Meet-UP tour for the next 4 months:-)

Andy, I know from my own experience how difficult it is to make videos. Your're doing very well!
Your accent is a trademark indeed: whenever I sit on the couch watching a new OPEN video my girlfriend has big smile upon her face and asks "is it Openkessi?" :-)

Hi Felix, and what you can never see in any video is how difficult is to find a spot where you have no background noise. Marc our videographer and me sometimes get really crazy. You can be on a field in the middle of nowhere thinking background noise is the least problem and then a framer comes with his tractor spreading manure next to you.... we had it all. And of course that happens exactly in the moment when you think now you did well...

I have to put in my plug for Dallas and Fort Worth. We would love to see you and Andy in Texas. There are great places to ride, wonderful people and the greatest BBQ in the world. You would be most welcome here.
