BOTM: ONE OF THE LAST ONE'S - PART 2

Andy Kessler - 20-Oct-2023
Normally we show you some beauty shots in our second BOTM blog. After the last video here another one with more details about the build - just to honour the ONE + and to say good bye to a product category. It was an important part of our company history and I will miss it... But one day Gerard and myself will write this book about OPEN and the industry...then it will pop up again with lots of exciting stories...

Ok, and one more picture also: my most favourite BOTM of the ONE+. Just had to do it sorry lots of memories...

Time to say good bye (almost)...

What is going on with the fork on that one+ in the picture with the Mazda sign? Is that a lefty?

Also, is it possible to still get a one+ or has production and sales ended?

Your comments bring me sadness Andy. The ONE+ is a cracking bike, there doesn’t appear to be anything equivalent available out there now - a true XC machine. I believe the gravel scene will eventually bring people back to the cross country genre; it has for me. Living in the flat lands of East Anglia UK, the ONE+ has been outstanding for my requirements. Just leaves me to say “Thank You” for enabling and allowing me such fun. Peace.

Hi Matt, our company focus is simplicity and we are small. We can not play in every field and we want to rather do 3 things right than 10 so so... But hey never say never again...

I will really miss it.
I sadly never owned a One+ and right now I don't really need a mountain bike at all (I haven't touched my old BMC TE02 hardtail ever since I got my UP in 2018), but I always somehow wanted one.
It was legendary, but I know there will be new exciting bikes coming in the future.

I am extremely interested in a OPEN+. If you have a medium in stock (built or just frame) I will purchase it ASAP. I did not realize you still had the incredible bike. Please let me know if it is still posable to get a ONE+

Sincerely Mat
