BOTM: Green Machine - part 2

Gerard Vroomen - 24-Oct-2017
Enjoy part 2 of the Green Machine Bike Of The Month. And for those still waiting for the final parts of the August Bike Of The Month (the Start U.P.), we haven't forgotten about that, we're just waiting for some information before posting the rest.

It is a very nice build and very clean, simple and functional.
Can you share a photo that details the space around the crank and chainring clearance? I would like to build something more with a 46-to-48 tooth and concerned about the clearance.

Hi Kirby, max chainring for the front is 46 this should work fine. 48 is not possible.

I recently purchased the same frame and Easton EC90 SL crankset, to be paired with a Wheels Mfg 386EVO Angular Contact BB for 30mm. The crankset did not come with spacers, and the BB came with a couple thin washers and wave washers. Give you experience with this component and bottom bracket, what spacers are needed on the drive and non-drive side? I saw the video for the spacers to be used when running a Sram crank, but could not find any reference to the Eason EC90 SL crankset 1X configuration.

Thank you, keep up the great work.
